Electrical Engineering Intern, Summer 2027

Location: San Bruno, California, United States. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is not available.

Estimated base salary: $35–$45 per hour, excluding benefits and potential equity.

What you will do

• Collaborate with mechanical, systems, and firmware teams on new product design and validation.
• Run experiments, collect and analyze hardware performance data, and document results.
• Support engineering builds with contract manufacturers and cross-functional teams.
• Track test data, troubleshoot issues, and develop workarounds.
• Work with engineers to identify root causes and implement solutions.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Fundamental understanding of analog, digital, and power circuit design.
• Experience with microcontrollers, sensors, and motor drivers.
• Experience using oscilloscopes, signal generators, multimeters, or similar test and measurement equipment.
• Experience with Raspberry Pi, Python, or equivalent tools for scripting data collection and analysis.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Altium or other schematic design tools.
