Network Engineer III

Location: Full-time onsite employment at the hirify.global Store Support Center, 510 Volvo Parkway, Chesapeake, Virginia, United States. Relocation support is available for candidates outside the Hampton Roads, Virginia area.

Projected salary: $99,000–$124,00 annually, plus a 20% annual bonus opportunity and other incentives.

What you will do

• Design and implement enterprise LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, data center, and cloud network solutions.
• Lead routing, switching, network security, segmentation, and high-availability initiatives.
• Act as the Tier 3 escalation point for complex incidents, outages, latency, connectivity, and performance issues.
• Lead SD-WAN deployments, retail network modernization, data center upgrades, and cloud network integration.
• Maintain architecture diagrams, technical documentation, runbooks, configuration standards, and governance materials.
• Collaborate with security, cloud, infrastructure, and application teams on scalable and reliable solutions.

Requirements

• Authorization to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship is required.
• Full-time onsite presence at the Chesapeake, Virginia Store Support Center is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of network engineering experience, including large-scale, multi-site, or retail networks.
• Experience with BGP, OSPF, MPLS, leaf-spine networking, EVPN/VXLAN, WAN and SD-WAN architectures, firewalls, segmentation, and network security.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco ACI, Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto, F5, and Infoblox.

Nice to have

• Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Aruba, or F5 professional certifications.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers.
