Systems Engineer (Enterprise Networking)

Location: Remote, based in the Northeast U.S.; strong preference for candidates in or near Boston, MA or Philadelphia, PA. Occasional travel required, up to 25–50% depending on territory needs.

Salary: $98,000–$138,000 per year, plus equity and commission opportunities.

What you will do

• Provide pre-sales technical consultation, solution design, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts for enterprise customers.
• Lead the architecture and deployment of enterprise Wi-Fi, switches, routers, cloud networking, and security solutions.
• Design secure networking environments using Zero Trust principles, identity-based access, segmentation, and secure onboarding.
• Plan and optimize wireless networks using RF design tools such as Ekahau or similar platforms.
• Support post-sales transitions, customer escalations, troubleshooting, and collaboration with the Support organization.
• Train and enable MSPs, VARs, distributors, and other channel partners while communicating customer feedback to Product Management.

Requirements

• Must be based in the Northeast U.S.; proximity to Boston or Philadelphia is strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Network Engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
• Expertise in Wi-Fi 6/6E/7, Layer 2/3 switching, VLANs, routing, QoS, and enterprise security.
• Experience with cloud-managed networking, Zero Trust security, identity-based access, and micro-segmentation.
• Strong wired and wireless troubleshooting, solution development, communication, organizational, and project coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25–50% and experience supporting channel partners, MSPs, and mid-market enterprise customers.

Nice to have

• CWNA, CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent industry certifications.
• Experience with Ekahau, Hamina, or similar RF design tools.
