Spring Adjunct Faculty (Communications) (On Campus)

What you will do

• Teach up to six semester credit hours in Communication or the applicable required discipline, based on student demand.
• Provide face-to-face instruction through a regular on-campus schedule.
• Hold office hours and assist students as needed.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with students and the general public.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize teaching responsibilities while meeting pressing timelines.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Communication or a closely related discipline with at least 18 graduate hours in Communication.
• Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
• Ability to interact professionally with the general public.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work under stress.
• Curriculum vitae, letter of interest, at least three current professional references with full contact information, and unofficial transcripts are required.
• Employment is contingent on credential verification and completion of a criminal history investigation.

Nice to have

• Earned doctorate in the discipline or a closely related field with at least 18 graduate hours in Communication.
• Previous collegiate teaching experience.
• Relevant industry experience.
