Adult Health/ Medical-Surgical Clinical Faculty (Part-Time)

Location: El Paso, Texas, USA; onsite clinical teaching required. Clinical schedules most commonly consist of 12-hour rotations from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for three to four consecutive days.

Salary: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment, depending on education and experience.

What you will do

• Implement nursing curriculum, course objectives, and program outcomes through clinical teaching.
• Plan clinical experiences and directly supervise nursing students providing patient care.
• Evaluate student performance and provide documented feedback based on course objectives.
• Develop clinical assignments aligned with student knowledge, competencies, and learning needs.
• Grade written work, quizzes, tests, lab assignments, and clinical documentation.
• Coordinate student and clinical-agency issues with the course coordinator and academic leadership.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered professional nursing license in Texas required.
• At least two years of recent registered-nurse experience in the instructional area within the last five years.
• Strong nursing subject-matter expertise and written and verbal communication skills.
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be required for certain clinical partner sites.
• Passion for nursing education, lifelong learning, and supporting students and colleagues.
