Location: Columbia, Missouri, United States

Compensation: $715–$1,950 per earned credit hour, depending on education, experience, course type, location, licensure, and other job-related factors.

What you will do

• Develop and deliver approved course syllabi aligned with terminal course objectives.
• Prepare, organize, and regularly update course materials.
• Use websites, email, online discussions, and course-related software to support instruction.
• Set course expectations, assignment and examination dates, and evaluation criteria.
• Prepare and grade assessments consistently and fairly while providing timely student feedback.
• Teach courses meeting once or twice weekly for eight weeks through face-to-face interaction blended with online learning.

Requirements

• Master’s degree required for faculty positions.
• At least 18 graduate credit hours in the subject taught required for undergraduate teaching.
• Relevant subject-matter expertise and excellent communication skills.
• Strong motivational and instructional skills for diverse and non-traditional learners.
• Ability to work collegially and facilitate collaboration among diverse groups.
• Additional state licensing or accreditation requirements may apply.
