TL;DR
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst (Asset Management): Delivering financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, and planning support for CFO, Legal, Compliance, Audit, and Risk functions with an accent on expense analysis, variance reporting, and financial modeling. Focus on analyzing operational data, identifying risks and opportunities, and improving forecasting and FP&A processes while maintaining data integrity and control.

Location: Owings Mills, Maryland, United States; hybrid schedule with up to one day per week from home.

Base salary: $69,500–$118,000 annually for Maryland, Colorado, Washington, and remote workers. Employees may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus.

What you will do

  • Partner with CFO Group, Legal, Audit, Compliance, and Risk stakeholders on expense drivers, trends, risks, and business insights.
  • Support budgeting, quarterly forecasting, long-range planning, and month-end close activities.
  • Perform monthly variance analysis and communicate key drivers to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports, business review materials, and strategic planning content.
  • Support advanced financial modeling for Corporate Real Estate & Workplace Solutions and Procurement.
  • Identify risks, opportunities, and improvements to reporting, forecasting, and FP&A processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Experience with financial systems and data tools such as Snowflake, Power BI, or other dashboarding tools.
  • FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.
