Financial Analyst (Real Estate)

Location: North Bethesda, Maryland, United States; hybrid schedule with four days in the office and one day remote each week

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 base per year plus bonus

What you will do

• Build, maintain, and analyze income and cash flow projections for portfolio properties.
• Manage pro forma financial analyses for ground-up developments and redevelopments.
• Conduct variance analyses and prepare NOI and periodic financial reporting for senior management.
• Evaluate leasing, development, and redevelopment opportunities to identify value-add and revenue growth potential.
• Contribute to annual budgets, strategic business plans, and investment committee memoranda.
• Review tenant financial performance, prepare lease reviews, and improve financial models and reporting tools.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis and reporting; real estate experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Understanding of financial valuation concepts, including financial ratios, IRR, and NPV.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively across Asset Management, Leasing, Operations, Construction, and Development teams.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, prioritization, and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Argus Enterprise.
• Real estate financial analysis experience.
