Location: Full-time onsite position at UMA’s Tampa Center in Tampa, Florida, United States. Requires regular movement throughout the Center and occasional evening or weekend work for events and campus activities.

Salary: $20.19–$21.50 USD per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for students, prospective students, visitors, partners, vendors, and guests.
  • Coordinate front-office operations, including reception, calls, inquiries, mail, packages, deliveries, appointments, and visitor access.
  • Maintain reception, meeting, common, and shared campus spaces in an organized and presentation-ready condition.
  • Coordinate vendors, service calls, facility needs, meeting logistics, room setup, technology, food delivery, and campus supplies.
  • Support executive visits, employer and community partner visits, orientations, open houses, student activities, and other campus events.
  • Perform administrative work, maintain records and student information, support campus leadership, and follow campus safety and compliance procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in customer service, administrative support, office coordination, hospitality, campus operations, or a related environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Fluent verbal and written English communication skills are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and other business tools.
  • Ability to work onsite in Tampa, Florida, with flexibility for occasional evenings and weekends.

Nice to have

  • Associate degree.
  • Three or more years of relevant experience, including in higher education, healthcare, hospitality, or campus operations.
  • Experience coordinating meetings, events, vendors, or facility-related activities.
  • Experience supporting senior leaders, executives, external stakeholders, or students.
