Senior HR Business Partner

Location: New York, New York, United States of America; the role requires approximately 10% domestic and international travel.

Salary: $130,000–$160,000 annually.

What you will do

• Partner with senior and executive leaders on talent strategy, organizational design, resource management, and change initiatives.
• Lead workforce planning, including organizational changes, forecasting, internal mobility, immigration considerations, and future talent needs.
• Manage employee relations matters, investigations, complaints, harassment concerns, conflict resolution, performance issues, and termination processes.
• Coach leaders and managers, prepare them for difficult conversations, and strengthen management capability.
• Support merit, promotion, and bonus planning, talent calibration, culture-building initiatives, and employee engagement programs.
• Maintain HRBP metrics and use HR technology and AI tools to analyze workforce data, identify trends, and support business decisions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner or in a comparable HR role supporting business leaders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Experience advising senior or executive leadership on talent strategy, organizational design, and change management in fast-paced, matrixed organizations.
• Experience with compensation planning, employment law, HR best practices, sensitive employee matters, and equitable pay decisions.
• Strong coaching, communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
• Experience with HRIS, ATS, and L&D platforms, including Workday preferred; ability to travel approximately 10% domestically and internationally.
