Senior Director, IT Engineering & Support (Quantum Computing)

Location: Broomfield, Colorado, United States. Workplace: On-site. Travel to company locations may be required, up to 25%. Candidates must be a U.S. Person as defined in the posting; candidates must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless also a U.S. citizen.

Salary: $200,000–$270,000 annually, inclusive of bonus target.

What you will do

• Define enterprise IT infrastructure engineering and support strategy, operating models, roadmaps, and investment priorities.
• Own reliability, scalability, lifecycle health, and supportability across networks, servers, cloud and on-premises platforms, endpoints, identity services, data centers, and related services.
• Lead a global organization through directors, senior managers, managers, and technical leaders.
• Govern infrastructure security, resilience, disaster recovery, continuity, major incidents, and operational risk.
• Manage multiyear investment portfolios, budgets, sourcing decisions, strategic vendors, negotiations, and benefits realization.
• Advise executives and senior stakeholders on technology strategy, risk, investment, workforce productivity, and transformation progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; a relevant master’s degree is valued.
• 15+ years of progressive enterprise technology experience, including infrastructure engineering and end-user support.
• 10+ years of people leadership experience, including leading leaders and geographically distributed, multilayered organizations.
• U.S. Person status is required due to contractual requirements.
• Due to U.S. Government national security requirements, candidates must not be PRC nationals or Russian nationals unless also U.S. citizens.
• Experience with enterprise infrastructure, service operations, security, business continuity, transformation, financial portfolios, strategic vendors, and executive communication.

Nice to have

• ITIL or modern service-management experience and relevant cloud, infrastructure, security, or program leadership certifications.
• Experience improving global IT maturity, service performance, resilience, cost effectiveness, and employee experience at scale.
• Experience with major migrations, automation programs, organizational change, sourcing strategies, and leadership succession.
