Director of IT – M&A, Transformation & Infrastructure

Location: London, UK. This office-tied role requires working from the office four days a week.

What you will do

• Lead IT due diligence, post-merger integrations, carve-outs, and integration framework development.
• Define target operating models, technology synergies, risk mitigation strategies, and program governance.
• Direct enterprise transformation, cloud and infrastructure migrations from inception through stabilization.
• Act as an IT business partner to senior leaders and translate business requirements into architecture and technology roadmaps.
• Modernize enterprise infrastructure across cloud, data centers, networks, identity, security, storage, virtualization, and collaboration systems.
• Build and mentor technical teams, manage vendors and external delivery partners, and oversee contracts with system integrators and managed service providers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including 4–5 years in IT leadership or management.
• Hands-on experience planning and executing M&A integrations, carve-outs, and enterprise-wide migration programs.
• Strong systems engineering or infrastructure architecture background with experience in hybrid-cloud environments, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of networking, enterprise storage, virtualization, Microsoft 365, cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and compliance standards.
• Experience managing complex multi-stream programs, budgets, KPIs, risks, and executive reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• PMP, PgMP, or Agile/Scrum certification.
• Master’s degree or MBA.
