Material Handler (Healthcare)

Location: On-site in Santa Fe, New Mexico, or Lakewood, Colorado, United States. Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; overtime and an on-call rotation may be required.

Salary: $20–$22 per hour. External candidates may be eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

What you will do

• Order supplies from vendors by computer and telephone.
• Load and unload shipments, verify packing slips, and process received stock in the inventory system.
• Process supply orders from client offices and patient service centers by phone, fax, and email.
• Print requisition forms and barcode labels, and pack orders for shipment through carriers such as FedEx and UPS.
• Maintain inventory controls, complete cycle counts and physical inventories, and deliver supplies to local branches and service centers.
• Resolve customer concerns and support facility-related issues when required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in inventory management, facilities support, shipping and receiving, supply distribution, vendor coordination, or facility operations.
• Knowledge of inventory control and cycle counts, with basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Strong verbal communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to pass a standardized color-blind test and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work on-site in Santa Fe, New Mexico, or Lakewood, Colorado, and participate in an on-call rotation.

• Current or prior hirify.global experience.
• Experience using FedEx, UPS, or similar shipping and logistics systems.
• Experience managing inventory in laboratory, healthcare, manufacturing, or regulated environments.
• Experience working with facility vendors and contractors.
