Salary: $19.92–$28.89 per hour

What you will do

  • Manage daily inventory ordering, replenishment, receiving, equipment, linen, and mail activities.
  • Order and deliver supplies and linen according to par levels, identifying shortages and overstock.
  • Conduct audits and document discrepancies, expirations, shortages, and inventory inaccuracies.
  • Use WaveMark and PeopleSoft to maintain supply chain data integrity and support standard processes.
  • Resolve supply chain issues for internal customers and collaborate with clinical staff on product changes.
  • Train new employees, support special projects, and serve as a resource when coordinators or managers are unavailable.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, or at least two years of relevant work experience in lieu of a diploma or GED.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Computer literacy; MMIS software experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, respond quickly under pressure, organize work, and think critically.
  • Ability to work onsite in Chicago on a day schedule, including rotating weekends and holidays.

Nice to have

  • Five years of experience in a hospital or healthcare environment.
  • Knowledge of healthcare processes and healthcare supply chain operations.
  • Associate degree in a related field.
  • Lean/Six Sigma experience.
