Senior Manager, Project Management-Power Delivery (Power Delivery)

What you will do

• Lead the Grid Engineering Project Management Organization and develop project managers and engineers supporting power delivery projects.
• Establish project management standards, governance processes, tools, and best practices for consistent delivery.
• Manage portfolio reporting across schedule, budget, profitability, earned value, change orders, backlog, risk, and client satisfaction.
• Provide executive oversight for high-profile, high-risk, and strategically important engineering projects and pursuits.
• Partner with engineering, business development, finance, contracts, legal, and quality functions on resource planning, proposals, project execution, and process improvement.
• Lead recruiting, onboarding, training, succession planning, performance management, safety, quality, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college or university.
• 8+ years of experience delivering projects for electric utilities, EPC firms, engineering consulting organizations, or related infrastructure industries.
• 5+ years of experience leading project managers, project delivery teams, or project management organizations.
• Experience managing portfolios with multiple concurrent projects, clients, and stakeholder groups.
• Working knowledge of project management methodology, project controls, risk management, financial forecasting, profitability, earned value, change management, and budget control.
• Ability to travel for client meetings, project reviews, leadership meetings, conferences, recruiting, and organizational planning.

Nice to have

• Experience with transmission, distribution, substations, protection and controls, grid modernization, renewable interconnection, or utility infrastructure programs.
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint, Cobra, Power BI, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or comparable platforms.
• Experience in proposal development, capture planning, pursuit management, and strategic business development.
• PMP certification, MBA, or another relevant project management, engineering, or business leadership credential.
