Senior Project Manager-PMO (HR)

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota. Employees work in the office at least four days per week, with the option to work from home one day per week. Applicants must have valid US work authorization and must not require current or future visa sponsorship.

Base salary: $107,000–$147,100 per year, plus potential variable compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead complex HR projects and programs from planning and stakeholder alignment through implementation, testing, deployment, stabilization, and post-implementation support.
• Define objectives, scope, governance, success measures, priorities, and integrated delivery plans with executive sponsors and senior leaders.
• Manage multiple workstreams, dependencies, milestones, resources, financial forecasts, risks, issues, and scope changes.
• Run governance forums, project meetings, working sessions, and decision-making processes while maintaining executive reporting and accountability.
• Lead HR technology implementations, operating model changes, process improvements, regulatory projects, digital transformation, and AI-enabled initiatives.
• Drive organizational readiness, stakeholder engagement, adoption, training, communications, benefits realization, and improvements to PMO governance and portfolio management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 7–10 years of progressive project or program management experience leading complex initiatives and system implementations.
• Experience leading enterprise HR initiatives and/or implementing HR technologies such as Workday, ServiceNow HRSD, Cornerstone, or Paradox.
• Advanced skills in integrated planning, resource and financial management, risk and issue resolution, change control, governance, and stakeholder communications.
• Ability to influence senior leaders without direct authority, manage ambiguity, drive accountability, and deliver through cross-functional teams and vendors.
• PMP, Agile, or another project management certification.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise transformation, HR operating models, mergers and acquisitions, organizational change, process improvement, digital transformation, or AI-enabled initiatives.
• Portfolio management, governance, and strategic planning experience.
• Experience in financial services, insurance, wealth management, or another highly regulated industry.
• Prosci or another change management certification.
