Project Manager (Technical Puerto Rico - Remote)

Location: Puerto Rico; requires travel around the island and commuting to the Guaynabo, Puerto Rico office for essential meetings. Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents.

Salary: $81,111–$137,889 annually for full-time employment.

What you will do

• Develop contract solutions, project scopes, budget forecasts, schedules, resource plans, and deliverables with clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Manage project risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, change requests, quality assurance activities, and escalation processes.
• Coordinate project activities and multiple concurrent workstreams to support on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Maintain client communications, status updates, meeting notes, project documentation, and follow-ups.
• Support release coordination, implementation readiness, post-launch support, lessons learned, and continuous improvement.
• Respond to client questions and concerns while ensuring deliverables meet quality and business requirements.

Requirements

• US citizenship or permanent residency is required for federal contract work.
• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of project management experience.
• At least 3 years managing IT or software delivery projects with accountability for schedule, budget, scope, and risk.
• At least 1 year managing multiple concurrent projects and coordinating cross-functional technical and business stakeholders.
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and experience with project management and collaboration tools, including Jira, Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Ability to travel around Puerto Rico and commute to the Guaynabo office for essential meetings.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree, PMP certification, or Agile certification such as CSM.
• Spanish fluency.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or hybrid delivery approaches.
• Experience with SaaS platforms, system integrations, configurable business applications, vendors, or subcontractors.
• Experience supporting federally funded disaster management, resilience, housing, infrastructure, or technology modernization programs.
