Team Leader Maintenance

Location: American Falls, Idaho, USA; onsite at the plant

Salary: $78,520–$117,790 per year

What you will do

• Directly supervise maintenance mechanics across two production lines, assign daily work, manage coverage, and conduct shift huddles and performance discussions.
• Coordinate preventive, predictive, corrective, and precision maintenance while ensuring timely completion of work orders and planned outages.
• Support troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and control systems and lead rapid response to equipment breakdowns.
• Partner with Production Supervisors to communicate equipment status, planned work, risks, and priorities.
• Identify reliability risks, lead root cause analyses, and track downtime, MTTR, MTBF, and PM compliance.
• Manage critical spare parts, tools, contractors, and maintenance resources while supporting 5S, TPM, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of industrial maintenance experience, including 1–2 years of leadership or supervisory responsibility.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills; electrical and controls experience is preferred.
• Experience supervising teams and coordinating maintenance activities across multiple production lines.
• Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance planning processes, including accurate work-order documentation.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and team-coaching skills.
• Ability to work in a noisy plant environment with changing temperatures and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
