Maintenance Technician (Electromechanical Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Everett, Washington, United States. Assigned schedules may include day, swing, night, rotating, overtime, weekend, and on-call coverage as operations move toward multi-shift and 24/7 operations.

Salary: $43.90–$52.43 per hour

What you will do

• Maintain and repair automated and industrial production equipment, including high-voltage test systems, laser welding and soldering equipment, material handling systems, pumps, presses, conveyors, and related machinery.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and basic controls issues using schematics, manuals, OEM documentation, maintenance history, and structured escalation.
• Install, replace, and repair components such as sensors, relays, contactors, motors, bearings, belts, gearboxes, pumps, valves, and seals.
• Work safely around high voltage, stored energy, pressurized systems, lasers, and robotic equipment using LOTO and electrical safe work practices.
• Document labor, failures, repairs, parts, and equipment history in a CMMS or similar maintenance system.
• Support emergency repairs and reliability improvements by identifying failure modes, required tools and spares, return-to-service checks, and preventive-maintenance improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant hands-on technical maintenance experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance, equipment service, military maintenance, aviation, automotive diagnostics, field service, or machine building.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree, apprenticeship, military technical training, or formal controls training may replace part of the direct-experience requirement.
• Electromechanical troubleshooting capability with depth in either electrical or mechanical systems and safe working ability across both.
• Experience troubleshooting industrial systems such as 480V equipment, motors, drives, sensors, power distribution, safety circuits, bearings, belts, gearboxes, pumps, valves, pneumatics, hydraulics, tooling, and mechanical assemblies.
• Ability to perform basic controls troubleshooting and escalate programming, logic, robot, HMI, or drive-configuration issues.
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds unassisted and stand, walk, bend, lift, stretch, and reach during shifts of up to 12 hours.
