What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, paginated reports, and semantic models.
• Create visualizations, KPIs, metrics, and reporting experiences that communicate business insights.
• Build DAX measures, calculated columns, relationships, hierarchies, and reusable business logic.
• Optimize report and semantic model performance, scalability, usability, and accessibility.
• Validate data, perform quality assurance testing, troubleshoot refresh issues, and support deployments.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders, support end users, and follow data governance and development standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, information systems, statistics, mathematics, engineering, business analytics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in business intelligence, reporting, data analytics, or Power BI development.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI reports, dashboards, analytical solutions, DAX, and business metrics.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL, plus knowledge of data modeling and star schema design.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience managing Power BI semantic models and familiarity with Analysis Services.
• Experience with Snowflake, Azure Synapse, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric.
• Advanced Power Query and DAX optimization experience.
• Familiarity with source control, software development lifecycle processes, data warehousing, and modern analytics architectures.
• Microsoft Power BI certification or willingness to pursue certification.
