Business Intelligence Co-Op (Power BI)

Manufactures fiber optic cable, connectivity products, and accessories, while providing engineering and installation services for telecom customers.

What you will do

• Meet with business users to document reporting and analytics requirements.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Collect, clean, transform, and validate data for accurate reporting.
• Analyze operational and business data to identify trends and actionable insights.
• Support data modeling, report design, troubleshooting, and data quality monitoring.
• Document reporting specifications, processes, and data sources while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, data analytics, management information systems, business analytics, or a related field.
• At least sophomore standing with a minimum 2.75 GPA.
• Commitment to three semesters, rotating between hirify.global and school.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Interest in business intelligence, data visualization, reporting, and analytics.

Nice to have

• Experience with relational databases, data analysis, reporting tools, Power BI, SQL, or a programming language.
