What you will do

• Design and implement business intelligence solutions using Snowflake Data Warehouse, SQL, Epic data, and Microsoft Power BI Fabric.
• Build intuitive Power BI dashboards, reports, and custom BI products using the Epic Cogito BI stack.
• Develop data models, relational database solutions, star schemas, data lake structures, and Lakehouse architectures.
• Collaborate with business and clinical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable analytics solutions.
• Analyze data, debug issues, resolve problems, and provide insights that support strategic decisions and operational improvements.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, finance, or economics; 7+ years of professional experience may substitute for the degree.
• 5+ years of experience writing SQL and working with Power BI or Epic Cogito.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, star schema design, data warehouses, and data lakes.
• Experience with business and data analysis, debugging, issue resolution, and data governance.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working independently, in cross-functional teams, and with Agile methodologies.

Nice to have

• Epic Clarity PB data model and Epic Cogito certification.
• Advanced degree in mathematics, statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Knowledge of pricing methodologies, VBA, and Excel Macros.
• Familiarity with data mining, predictive modeling, machine learning algorithms, and additional Epic reporting solutions such as Radar, Metrics, and SlicerDicer.
• Experience with healthcare data analytics.
