Sr Specialist, Finance Transformation - Power BI Developer (Finance)

Location: Hybrid working environment in Baltimore, Cedar Rapids, Denver, or Philadelphia, United States

Salary: $110,000–$135,000 annually, plus potential annual bonus

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Finance reporting solutions using Power BI and related analytics technologies.
• Lead reporting initiatives supporting Finance Transformation, ERP modernization, US GAAP reporting, and management reporting.
• Design and optimize data models, DAX calculations, and reporting architectures for complex financial and operational reporting.
• Establish reporting governance, development standards, data quality controls, and documentation requirements.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Technology, and business stakeholders to define and prioritize reporting deliverables.
• Provide technical oversight, solution reviews, mentorship, and support for audit, compliance, and regulatory reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Ten years of experience in strategic planning for finance systems, stakeholder management, and outcome-driven projects.
• Advanced strategic planning and stakeholder relationship management skills.
• Advanced experience with Power BI data models, DAX calculations, and interactive financial reporting.
• Experience sourcing, transforming, and connecting AWS data, including Redshift, to BI solutions.
• Knowledge of GAAP, SQL, relational databases, and scalable data modeling practices.
