Manager, Procurement Systems & Operations (AI)

Location: United States; hybrid work with attendance at the assigned office at least 3 days per week

Salary: $163,000–$167,000 USD per year in Chicago or Redwood City

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end sourcing lifecycles, including RFI/RFP/RFQ processes, vendor selection, negotiations, contracting, and supplier onboarding.
• Manage renewal pipelines by analyzing usage, benchmarking pricing, optimizing licensing models, and negotiating proactively.
• Develop commercial strategies and negotiate MSAs, SOWs, order forms, SaaS, cloud, security, and professional services agreements with Legal, Security, Finance, and business stakeholders.
• Partner with Engineering and Security leaders on roadmaps, spend forecasting, supplier performance, SLAs, QBRs, and contract compliance.
• Support the BOSS supplier evaluation and approval process, requisition intake, purchase orders, approvals, onboarding, and procurement office hours.
• Deliver quarterly reporting, deal overviews, savings analysis, spend models, and AI-enabled process improvements.

Requirements

• 3–6+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement operations, vendor management, or spend analytics, ideally in technology, SaaS, or cloud environments.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets and reporting skills, including data extraction, queries, analysis, and leadership reporting.
• Experience with SaaS, IaaS, security tools, professional services, licensing metrics, technology contracts, and commercial negotiations.
• Ability to build structured workflows, improve data quality, solve operational problems, and communicate commercial and data insights across Engineering, Security, Finance, Legal, and Accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work from the assigned United States office at least 3 days per week.
