What you will do

• Apply data science methods and analytics to real-world business challenges across industries.
• Design, build, implement, and deploy scalable AI solutions.
• Partner with clients across BCG regions and industries on topics including climate change.
• Distill complex analytical results and data science concepts into clear visualizations and business implications.
• Develop scientific thought leadership, papers, and conference presentations for BCG X.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Master's or PhD program in computer research science, data science, statistics, operations research, or a related field.
• Significant experience applying advanced analytics to varied business situations and synthesizing complex data.
• Deep understanding of modern machine learning techniques and their mathematical foundations.
• Comfort working in client-facing roles, leading teams, and explaining sophisticated data science concepts clearly.
• Experience writing code collaboratively with modern development tools; Python is required.
• Strong project management skills.

• Software development or DevOps experience.
