Associate Consultant (Employee Health & Benefits)

Salary: $64,700–$120,400 base salary per year, plus potential performance-based incentives.

What you will do

• Coordinate, develop, and execute client project plans and presentations.
• Support RFP, renewal, implementation, enrollment, billing, and claims processes.
• Analyze benchmark survey data, plan designs, underwriting calculations, and coverage information.
• Coordinate census data, Schedule A requests, ERISA Wrap documents, and client communications.
• Build vendor relationships and coordinate information with insurance carriers.
• Respond to client inquiries and review plans for accuracy and discrepancies.

Requirements

• Prior experience with employee benefits and multiple insurance lines, including medical, dental, life, STD, and LTD.
• Knowledge of health and welfare compliance, including HIPAA, FMLA, COBRA, Form 5500, ACA, and DOL requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to different professional audiences.
• Ability to collaborate with internal staff, management, clients, prospects, and vendors.
• Life and Health licensure, or commitment to obtain it within six months of starting.
