Principal Corporate Strategy Consultant (Healthcare)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home

Base pay: $112,200–$202,600 annually, plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Support corporate strategy development, planning, and implementation initiatives.
• Deliver projects that drive growth and improve the affordability of products and services.
• Contribute to operating model transformation enabled by technology.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to generate insights and inform decisions.
• Develop recommendations, prioritize opportunities, and resolve complex business problems.
• Manage complex projects and collaborate with leadership across a matrixed organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or MBA degree with 7 years of general industry experience, or 3 years of consulting experience at a top-tier consulting firm.
• Knowledge of corporate strategy and transformation, including experience formulating, planning, or implementing strategic initiatives.
• Experience with analysis, synthesis, insight generation, critical thinking, and complex problem solving.
• Experience managing complex projects with some oversight.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and interpersonal effectiveness skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex priorities in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving organization.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as MBA, MHA, MD, JD, or PhD.
• Healthcare industry experience, especially in health insurance.
• Experience with growth, product, transformation, technology enablement, or business case development.
