Category Manager (Machining/Motor/Pneumatic)

What you will do

• Manage the machining, motor, and pneumatic categories, including cost structures, technical requirements, supplier risks, and category strategies.
• Develop supplier partnerships, evaluate new suppliers, lead negotiations, and organize global QBRs and workshops.
• Drive cost-reduction programs, supplier performance improvements, risk mitigation, and dual-source recommendations.
• Lead RFQs and sourcing projects that improve total cost of ownership, quality, delivery, capacity, and supply continuity.
• Collaborate with R&D on BOM definition, design changes, technical road maps, and global new product introduction projects.
• Apply hirify.global supply chain management standards, tools, and processes, including SAP.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics, Mechanics, Automation, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in machining, motors, or pneumatics within a multinational company.
• Strong knowledge of product and component sourcing, supplier negotiation, and partnership development.
• Fluent written and spoken Chinese and English required.
• Strong communication, execution, collaboration, self-motivation, and result orientation.
• Willingness to travel frequently and ability to work under pressure.
