Senior Category Manager (Electronics)

Location: Must be based in Shanghai, China

What you will do

• Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for electronic components, including PCBAs, electrical components, and motors.
• Lead supplier selection, RFQ processes, contract negotiations, and supplier relationship management.
• Improve supplier quality, delivery, cost, performance, and supply security.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Operations on production and new product development activities.
• Drive total-cost optimization through value analysis, value engineering, and should-costing.
• Manage supplier qualification, risk, development, and compliance with procurement processes.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in procurement or category management for direct materials.
• Experience in electronics or industrial manufacturing, including global or regional sourcing projects.
• Degree in Engineering, Electronics, or Supply Chain.
• Strong commercial, negotiation, contract management, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
• Experience with ERP and procurement systems, as well as strong Excel and analytics skills.
• Business-fluent English and Chinese speaker; must be based in Shanghai, China.
