Maintenance Operator 17 - 3rd Shift (Industrial Maintenance)

Location: Onsite in Selmer, Tennessee, United States; third shift. Candidates must already have work authorization permitting employment in the United States.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, repair, adjust, and calibrate production equipment and supporting systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to weekly, monthly, and annual CMMS schedules.
• Carry out welding, fabrication, facility construction, equipment moves, and repairs.
• Work across plumbing, carpentry, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Read and interpret mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic blueprints.
• Identify potential equipment failures and unsafe conditions, communicate maintenance activities across shifts, and follow hirify.global safety procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical systems and strong electrical and mechanical skills.
• Ability to diagnose machine issues and perform plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
• Knowledge of safe work practices, including lockout/tagout, electrical safety, fall protection, respiratory protection, confined-space entry, elevated work platforms, hoists, and PPE.
• Existing United States work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not stated.

Nice to have

• PLC programming and troubleshooting knowledge.
• Maintenance, CMMS, wastewater treatment, OSHA, NFPA 70, and EPA experience.
• Certifications and experience operating forklifts and scissor lifts.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365.
