Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift

Location: Spartanburg, South Carolina, United States. Onsite, 3rd shift; ability to work any shift, including overtime, weekends, holidays, and shutdowns may be required.

What you will do

• Perform multi-craft maintenance, fabrication, construction, installation, rebuilding, and repair of manufacturing equipment and the physical plant.
• Troubleshoot and repair structural, mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical systems.
• Diagnose PLCs, robotics, motion and motor controls, three-phase power, and AC variable frequency drives.
• Fabricate and machine components for fixtures, jigs, parts, equipment repairs, and modifications.
• Use blueprints, technical manuals, hand tools, power tools, cranes, powered industrial trucks, and electronic test equipment safely.
• Maintain CMMS records and keep the work area orderly according to 5S standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of PLCs, hydraulics and pneumatics, robotics, electro-mechanical systems, motion and motor control, three-phase power, and AC variable frequency drives is preferred.
• Ability to fabricate and machine components and troubleshoot industrial equipment.
• Ability to problem-solve and continuously improve safety, quality, and productivity.
• Ability to lift parts and safely operate industrial access equipment.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, are preferred; manufacturing maintenance experience and one year of related experience are preferred.
