Maintenance Mechanic (5th Shift) (Marine)

Location: Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, United States; onsite work on the manufacturing floor during the 5th shift.

Salary: $42.15 per hour

What you will do

• Perform repairs, modifications, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on industrial production equipment.
• Maintain CNC machines, grinders, die-casting machines, heat-treating ovens, paint lines, and other plant machinery.
• Rebuild and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and minor electrical systems.
• Assist with moving machines and fixtures and with producing tooling and dies for production needs.
• Perform sheet-metal work for guards, ducting, spouts, and related equipment.
• Follow safety policies and recognized industry standards while working around active production equipment.

Requirements

• Valid state-registered Journey Worker's card in the Maintenance Mechanic Trade or at least 8 years of documented manufacturing mechanic experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of robots, Mazak CNC machinery, hydraulics, and pneumatically controlled equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance blueprints, schematics, sketches, and drawings.
• Working knowledge of electricity, welding, hydraulic, and mechanical functions.
• Ability to work independently, plan assignments, and train or supervise apprentices.
