Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: PA - East Greenville, United States; on-site manufacturing environment with shift work, overtime, weekend or holiday work, and possible on-call emergency response.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, maintain, install, and modify manufacturing machinery and equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance, inspections, lubrication, component replacement, and repair documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems, motors, sensors, switches, controls, and PLC-controlled equipment within training and authorization limits.
• Work with Production and Engineering on root-cause analysis, corrective actions, equipment reliability, safety, quality, and productivity improvements.
• Follow PPE, Lockout/Tagout, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain parts and tool inventory, update the maintenance management system, and coordinate with contractors and service providers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience, or equivalent technical training and experience.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills, with basic to intermediate electrical troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and other diagnostic equipment safely.
• Ability to work independently and with production employees, supervisors, engineers, and maintenance personnel in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Nice to have

• Technical school, certificate, or associate degree in industrial maintenance, electrical technology, mechanical technology, or a related field.
• Experience with PLCs, industrial controls, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Welding and fabrication experience, CMMS experience, or knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and TPM.
• Experience with CNC mills and wood-processing equipment.
