Mechanical Engineer, Industrial Projects

Location: Montréal, Quebec, Canada; 100% onsite

What you will do

• Analyze and optimize material flows, movements, and operational organization to improve productivity and reduce waste.
• Design and implement plant-layout projects covering production, storage, and internal logistics areas.
• Lead the acquisition, installation, and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment within schedule, budget, and operational requirements.
• Participate in the implementation and improvement of ERP systems and integrated management tools.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to build a safe and efficient manufacturing facility.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least five years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering or operations improvement in an industrial environment.
• Experience with production-flow optimization, plant layout, and continuous improvement.
• Hands-on experience planning and implementing manufacturing equipment or automation projects.
• Experience implementing or improving an ERP system in a manufacturing environment.
• Fluency in spoken and written French and English is required.
