Vice-President / Engagement Lead, Forensic Accounting Claims Services (FACS)

Location: Hybrid; based in one of Marsh's offices in Canada, with at least three days per week in the local office or onsite with clients

What you will do

• Develop financial models and quantify lost profits and damages for insurance claims, litigation and dispute-resolution matters.
• Manage complex client engagements, including business interruption loss measurement and claims preparation.
• Analyze large datasets and complex business models across diverse industry sectors.
• Communicate financial analysis to clients, attorneys and senior stakeholders in adversarial settings.
• Lead project delivery, manage expectations and coordinate with brokers, account teams and consulting stakeholders.
• Support practice growth, technology adoption and operational efficiency initiatives.

Requirements

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics or Economics.
• CPA, CBV, CFA and/or CFE designation preferred or applicable to the role.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in insurance claim quantification, specifically business interruption losses, litigation support or forensic accounting.
• Three to seven years of familiarity with accounting and finance concepts, income statements, profit and loss statements and related financial documentation.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VBA, with strong project management, problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional communication in both English and French is required.

Nice to have

• SQL, database experience or visualization and analytics applications.
• Experience leading major or complex insurance claims, especially business interruption losses.
• Expertise in construction, mining, energy or financial services.
• Knowledge of commercial insurance programs, including property and specialty insurance.
