Associate, Corporate Banking

What you will do

• Support strategic initiatives across Corporate Banking, including business transformation, operating model improvements, performance management, process redesign, automation, and growth initiatives.
• Help execute balance sheet and credit portfolio optimization strategies, including loan distribution, risk-sharing arrangements, secondary loan sales, risk transfer solutions, and investor partnerships.
• Perform financial, portfolio, and strategic analysis; build management reports, dashboards, executive materials, and business cases.
• Coordinate deliverables, timelines, dependencies, working groups, steering committees, and executive forums across Treasury, Finance, Risk, Legal, Operations, and Technology.
• Monitor initiative performance, identify risks and decision points, and synthesize complex information into actionable recommendations for senior management.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, Treasury, Capital Markets, Strategy, Management Consulting, or Corporate Finance.
• Experience in corporate lending, portfolio management, or capital markets.
• Degree or diploma in Business, Commerce, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in advanced Excel, PowerPoint, financial analysis, data analytics, financial modeling, and AI or business intelligence tools.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, self-motivation, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be legally eligible to work at the specified Toronto location and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.

Nice to have

• Completed credit training program or progress toward a CFA, CPA, or MBA designation.
