Technical Trainer US – Engineering (AI)

Location: Onsite at an HPE office in the United States; salary information specifies California

Salary: USD 92,700–187,500 annual base salary in California, United States. Variable incentives may also be offered.

What you will do

• Work with Engineering leadership to identify technical and business training requirements.
• Plan, create, market, deliver, and report on training programs end to end.
• Deliver webinars, workshops, and classroom training to engineering teams.
• Analyze training effectiveness and identify opportunities to improve content and delivery with AI.
• Implement and test small-scale AI tools, solutions, and API-based proof-of-concepts.
• Track emerging AI tools, frameworks, and instructional technology practices.

Requirements

• Software engineering background with basic coding, developer tools, and practices.
• 4+ years of experience with networking technologies.
• Experience developing and delivering technical training content.
• Program management, project planning, execution, reporting, and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Experience with generative AI platforms such as GPT models, Claude, or Gemini, plus prompt engineering principles.
• Proficiency in Python or another scripting language used for AI/ML experimentation, with excellent communication skills.
