Instructional Designer (AI)

Location: Remote, Canada

Salary: 90,000–100,000 CAD base pay per year, depending on work location and experience.

What you will do

• Design and build customer-facing course guides, slide decks, quizzes, and certification assessments.
• Create hands-on lab exercises and practical activities tied to hirify.global product workflows.
• Maintain and update Academy content as the product evolves, keeping learning materials accurate and current.
• Partner with subject-matter experts, product managers, and the training team to turn new features and releases into structured learning content.
• Support NASBA CPE-accredited on-demand courses for accounting and finance professionals.
• Use AI-powered tools to accelerate research, storyboarding, and course development, with opportunities to co-deliver webinars or office hours.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of instructional design experience through professional work, internships, coursework, or portfolio projects.
• Experience building eLearning content with Synthesia or the ability to learn new authoring tools quickly.
• Strong writing and editing skills, including the ability to translate complex technical workflows into clear learning content.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.
• Ability to manage multiple parallel projects against release-driven deadlines.
• Ability to work remotely from Canada.
