Lead Instructional Designer

Location: Pullman, WA; Boise, ID; or Charlotte, NC, United States. This is an onsite position at one of these locations.

Salary: $88,400–$132,700 annually.

What you will do

• Audit training content and design strategic learning paths for students.
• Outline and storyboard multi-day instructor-led training with subject matter experts.
• Create interactive eLearning content using Articulate Storyline and Rise.
• Collaborate with video producers to develop sophisticated animations.
• Analyze learner feedback and evaluation data to identify improvements.
• Design tailored training solutions for customer needs and explore AI, microlearning, and emerging learning technologies.

Requirements

• Degree in instructional design, educational technology, or a related field.
• Portfolio demonstrating sophisticated learning content across multiple delivery formats.
• More than 7 years of experience developing technical training for diverse audiences and instructors.
• Knowledge of adult learning theories and ability to simplify complex technical subjects.
• Mastery of PowerPoint, Word, and Articulate tools.
• Strong writing, communication, project management, independent work, and deadline-management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience collaborating with creative and technical project partners.
