Presales Systems Engineer (Networking)

Location: Remote/Teleworker, with the territory assigned to Minnesota

Salary: USD 175,000–411,500 annual combined base and target-level sales compensation

What you will do

• Provide presales technical, functional, and consultative support for enterprise and Global Major customers in Minnesota.
• Design and present tailored combinations of hardware, software, and services for complex customer needs.
• Partner with Territory Managers and channel partners to qualify opportunities, develop proposals, deliver presentations, and progress the sales pipeline.
• Build proofs of concept, product demonstrations, and rapid prototypes based on customer requirements.
• Create detailed product, design, and implementation specifications for complex networking solutions.
• Develop long-term account relationships, identify opportunities, and provide technical expertise throughout the sales process.

Requirements

• 10+ years of infrastructure engineering experience and successful presales support experience preferred.
• Expertise in Aruba Networking or Juniper Mist Networking, routing and switching, and network security.
• Experience with NAC technologies including ClearPass, ISE, Cloud NAC, or Juniper Access Assurance.
• Experience designing, deploying, and troubleshooting wireless networks, including pre- and post-deployment site surveys.
• Knowledge of wireless survey tools such as Ekahau or Hamina.
• Strong customer-facing communication, presentation, organizational, consultative, and solution-design skills.

• CWNA, CWDP, or CWSP knowledge.
