Mechanical/Project Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Meridian, Idaho, United States; full-time onsite role in an industrial manufacturing facility

Salary: $70,000–$110,000 USD annual base salary, plus eligibility for an annual bonus or role-based sales incentive plan.

What you will do

• Lead engineering and capital projects from initial scoping and budgeting through execution, commissioning, and commercialization.
• Develop project plans, track milestones and risks, analyze operational data, and provide financial and technical updates.
• Coordinate equipment vendors, contractors, internal R&D teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Optimize production processes and develop mechanical designs and equipment requirements using 2D and solid-modeling CAD tools.
• Evaluate, test, and modify existing and new equipment to improve safety, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Support product launches, safety compliance, continuous improvement, and technical mentoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in mechanical, manufacturing, or project engineering.
• Experience working in a technical product production or industrial manufacturing facility.
• Proficiency with 2D and solid-modeling CAD tools.
• Experience applying continuous improvement methods, root cause analysis, FMEA, and RCM.
• Experience managing engineering projects from scope through execution, including timelines and budgets.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Ignition and Allen Bradley PLCs.
