Systems Engineer (Networking)

Location: Perth, Australia; hybrid work with an average of 2 days per week from an HPE office

What you will do

• Partner with account teams to develop opportunities and drive sales of HPE Networking solutions.
• Build trusted technical and business relationships with enterprise and government customers.
• Advise customers on product direction and digital transformation solutions.
• Deliver technical presentations, customer demonstrations, proof-of-concept activities, and business cases.
• Design product and solution specifications in collaboration with sales teams to address customer requirements.
• Work with vendor partners on business development and demand-generation events.

Requirements

• 10+ years of related pre-sales or technical sales experience.
• Proven experience selling complex enterprise solutions to large enterprise and government accounts.
• Strong presentation, technical-sales leadership, customer advisory, and RFP experience.
• Knowledge of network architectures, cloud-based solutions, security architectures, and industry solutions.
• Experience with AI-driven networks, automation, campus and branch networks, wireless, security, SD-WAN, MPLS, and data-centre architectures.
• Technical-sales experience with advanced networking and security solutions.

Nice to have

• Juniper Networks knowledge or certifications, including Juniper Mist, EX, QFX, SRX, MX, ACX, PTX, JUNOS, and cloud solutions.
• HPE Aruba experience and certifications such as ACMA, ACMP, ACMX, or ACDX.
• Equivalent experience with other vendors’ networking equipment.
• Experience presenting at technical road shows and industry events.
