BCG X Vendor Management Senior Manager (AI)

Location: Lisbon or Casablanca; in-office at least 3 days per week

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end vendor lifecycle, including market research, partner identification, legal and commercial negotiations, contract formalization, onboarding, quality assurance, timesheets, and invoices.
• Orchestrate and improve BCG X’s global contingent workforce operations.
• Lead and mentor Vendor Management Specialists across regions and time zones.
• Advise senior internal stakeholders and external vendors on compliant, efficient, and scalable vendor operations.
• Integrate AI and Agentic AI tools into vendor management workflows.
• Monitor vendor spend, forecasting, timesheets, and invoices in collaboration with the FinOps team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Law, Operations, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of progressive experience in procurement, vendor management, or contingent workforce operations, ideally in professional services or technology.
• Experience negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships end-to-end.
• Experience leading and developing distributed, cross-functional teams and managing senior stakeholders.
• Fluent written and spoken English is required.
• Experience with Vendor Management Systems such as SAP Fieldglass and strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Agentic AI tools or a strong interest in applying AI to operational workflows.
• Portuguese, Japanese, or Mandarin language skills.
