Quality Specialist (Materials Focus)

What you will do

• Perform chemical verification of in-process epoxy and urethane systems, including formulation accuracy, cure characteristics, and compliance with documented specifications.
• Inspect incoming materials and conduct confirmatory testing for viscosity, solids, NCO content, and other relevant properties.
• Lead preventive and corrective actions using chemical analysis, CAPA, root cause analysis, and updated control plans.
• Evaluate laboratory capabilities, recommend equipment upgrades, and support validated testing methods.
• Plan and execute internal audits, verify corrective-action effectiveness, and prepare for customer and regulatory audits.
• Maintain laboratory procedures, QMS documentation, personnel training, document control, and traceability in line with ISO 9001 requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Laboratory Analyst or a related field is preferred, with at least two years of experience.
• At least one year of laboratory experience is preferred, including knowledge of viscosity, density, gel time, and related testing methodologies.
• Experience with root cause analysis and CAPA methodologies.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills with a solution-focused approach.
• Must already have work authorization permitting employment with hirify.global in the United States.
