What you will do

• Perform quality control tests on manufactured goods and raw materials to verify conformity with material specifications.
• Apply wet chemistry methods including titration, specific gravity, density, viscosity, pH, conductivity, turbidity, moisture, and related analyses.
• Investigate product quality concerns using root cause analysis and communicate findings with R&D and management.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, calibration, validation, verification records, documentation, and logs.
• Support laboratory accreditation, method validation, measurement uncertainty, continuous improvement, and cross-training activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized laboratory and follow Responsible Care, personal protective equipment, and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related field; an Associate’s degree may be considered with equivalent experience.
• 0–3 years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of analytical instrumentation and spectroscopy principles.
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001, TS16949, or ISO 17025 quality standards.
• Knowledge of acids and bases, surfactants, oils and distillates, saponification, ion exchange, and solubility principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, SAP inventory databases, and PLC software, along with analytical thinking and multitasking skills.
