Lead Health & Benefits Consultant

Location: San Francisco, United States; hybrid work with at least three days per week in the office or onsite with clients

Base salary: $115,200–$230,400 per year, plus potential performance-based incentives

What you will do

• Lead complex client engagements covering service delivery, strategy, financial evaluations, plan design, renewals, placements, benchmarking, and benefits studies.
• Develop benefits design and renewal strategies, tools, and solutions for complex client issues.
• Define client service scopes and assign roles and responsibilities across the client team.
• Advise clients on industry trends and manage relationships as the primary consultant.
• Own account and project revenue, profitability, scope, budget, timelines, and client satisfaction.
• Expand existing accounts, lead new-client prospecting, and create demand for new products and services using AI- and technology-enabled tools.

Requirements

• BA or BS degree.
• At least 8 years of experience identifying, designing, recommending, and implementing business solutions for complex healthcare benefits challenges.
• Recognized expertise and an industry reputation in health and benefits.
• Client-facing consulting experience.
• Life and Health License.
• Strong sales, marketing, analytical, mathematical, strategic planning, communication, listening, and project management skills.
