Production Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Putnam, Connecticut, United States

Salary: $95,000–$120,000 per year, plus eligibility for bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Lead daily manufacturing operations across safety, quality, delivery, inventory, productivity, and cost objectives.
• Develop, coach, and hold production associates and frontline leaders accountable for performance and engagement.
• Run Daily Management processes, including tier meetings, visual management, standard work, and performance tracking.
• Monitor operational metrics, identify performance gaps, and implement corrective actions through structured problem solving.
• Partner with Human Resources on employee relations, attendance, performance management, talent development, and succession planning.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, labor utilization, resource planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, engineering, supply chain, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience leading employees in a manufacturing, operations, or production environment with accountability for safety, quality, and performance.
• Ability to coach, develop, and hold employees accountable while fostering an engaged work environment.
• Experience using performance metrics and operational data to drive decisions and business results.
• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, DBS, Kaizen, 5S, or structured problem-solving methods.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Materials, Supply Chain, and Human Resources.

• Experience supporting multiple shifts and managing diverse manufacturing teams.
• Experience implementing Lean, Kaizen, or DBS initiatives with measurable business impact.
