Production Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Natchitoches, Louisiana, USA; fully onsite. Working hours are 4:30 am–3:30 pm. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided.

What you will do

• Oversee all aspects of second-shift production operations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop two salaried supervisors and approximately 50–60 hourly employees.
• Deliver production targets while maintaining quality, safety, and operational efficiency.
• Monitor production metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues and minimize downtime.
• Lead shift meetings, enforce procedures and safety protocols, and maintain accurate records and reports.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least eight years of experience as a Production Supervisor in a large, high-volume manufacturing environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated leadership experience and a record of driving operational excellence in high-volume manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, problem-solving, collaboration, and continuous-improvement skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word, plus familiarity with manufacturing software and reporting tools.
• U.S. work authorization is required; temporary visa holders and candidates requiring current or future sponsorship are not eligible.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Three years of experience as a Shift Manager in a large, high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Experience with lean manufacturing or similar continuous process improvement.
