Production Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Homewood, Illinois, USA; onsite at a manufacturing facility

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 annually

What you will do

• Plan, organize, direct, and manage daily production operations to meet customer expectations.
• Increase production capacity and flexibility while controlling costs and maintaining quality standards.
• Manage production output, product quality, on-time shipping, resource allocation, and asset utilization.
• Implement operational strategies, monitor performance metrics, and initiate corrective actions.
• Lead production employees, coordinate schedules, address employee issues, and promote cross-functional collaboration.
• Coordinate Total Productive Maintenance activities and develop improved methods, tools, equipment, and procedures.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of management or supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in manufacturing, warehouse operations, and team supervision.
• Mechanical skills and knowledge of production processes.
• Strong mathematical, written, verbal, reading, and comprehension skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing teams while delivering performance metrics; knowledge of OEE, Lean, or TPM manufacturing principles.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Engineering or Management.
• SAP S/4HANA experience and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, or Six Sigma.
• Experience with manufacturing program planning, inventory control, change management, or ink manufacturing.
• Leadership experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
