Salary: $124,771.42–$171,560.71 per year

What you will do

• Lead complex mechanical engineering projects and manage project execution.
• Design and develop mechanical systems for ISR, aviation, and missile applications.
• Perform high-level engineering analyses and simulations to validate system performance.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, design specifications, and engineering reports.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field; an advanced relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or a related role.
• Expert knowledge of mechanical design principles and computer-aided design software.
• Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools, multidisciplinary design teams, and missile systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ability to work on a computer for extended periods, understand technical documents and test reports, and communicate technical information clearly.

Nice to have

• Master’s or PhD in a related field.
• Experience with GD&T according to ASME Y14.5.
• Experience with FEA, CFD, and thermal analysis.
• Background in aerospace and defense, aircraft or space applications, manufacturing, production, and product support.
• Familiarity with FAA, NASA, or DoD design and construction regulations.
